As an end-user of a Sage Software product many of you are receiving solicitations directly from Sage promoting their Gold Plan which proclaims unlimited support and upgrade assistance. While that may sound attractive, their support and staffing are limited and they have no way of knowing the intimate details about your setups, staffing, custom modifications, scripting, reports, or internal processes.
In 2012 Sage will be changing the names of many of their core accounting and ERP lines. These products will be identified with a numbering approach where higher numbers denote increasing levels of product capability or sophistication. The product renumbering sets will include Sage 50, Sage 100, Sage 300, and Sage 500.
