Over the past year, I have been following BizNet Software’s blog regarding their product BizInsight. For our customers that have switched, you know what BizInsight is, but, for those that have not taken that step, BizInsight is a robust reporting tool that leverages Excel and your Sage data. BizInsight takes your Sage General Ledger data and turns those into dynamic reports. You can even create your own dashboards and graphs directly from the financial statements.
I have found many tips and tricks that I’ve been able to use when helping our customers setup their own financial statements. In addition, BizNet posts brief videos on how to do certain tasks when creating financial statements. These can be very helpful when trying to create the ideal report for your company, especially with the level of detail that guides you step by step to complete the task. One of my favorite videos is the one that involves using conditional formatting.
The blog isn’t just about BizInsight, but about using learning more about Excel and building upon your knowledge using BizInsight. One video from last year that I have referred some customers to is the 10 Way to Improve Excel Report Distribution with BizBroadcast.
And if you are interested in becoming an Excel Rockstar, be sure to check out BizNet’s Excelapalooza event this September in Dallas. To get more information, make sure you take the time to check out the BizBlog. Mark it down as one of your favorites!
