Last week, the Oasis Solutions team hosted the 5th Annual Race to the Cloud at Churchill Downs. The invitation-only event attended by clients, valued partners and prospects, kicked off in the Jockey Club Suites Oaks Room.
The program opened with a fireside chat with HMS Global Maritime President & CEO, John Waggoner and Oasis Solutions President, Annette Manias. HMS Global Maritime, a leader of the marine industry, operates over 60 vessels and has seen tremendous growth since its inception. Waggoner focused on the strong company culture at HMS, he believes employee satisfaction has a direct relation to the success of the company and guest satisfaction.
Regional VP Channel Sales at Oracle NetSuite, Steve Mullen, spoke on the power of NetSuite: the #1 cloud ERP solution and their partnership with Oasis. This was followed by a demonstration of NetSuite’s robust functionality by Senior Software Consultant at Oasis Solutions, Nancy Sutton. Regional Account Executive at Adaptive Insights, Shawn McGrath, introduced the crowd to planning made easy with Adaptive Insights: a powerful planning software for finance and beyond. The presentation portion of the program wrapped up with Senior Software Consultant at Oasis Solutions, John Stanovich, demonstrating Adaptive’s powerful capabilities. On to the Jockey Club Suites where everyone enjoyed an afternoon of good food, drinks, and racing, mixed with a little rain! Luckily, the rain held off long enough for the trophy presentation of the fifth race of the day, Oasis Solutions 5th Annual Race to the Cloud. In a fun tradition at Race to the Cloud, a group of Oasis employees and attendees went down to the paddock and presented the trophy to Ship Stalker’s owner.
