Last Wednesday, Adaptive Insights and Oasis Solutions collaborated in hosting an event at Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse in downtown Louisville, KY. As the warmer, spring temperatures climbed into the the upper 60’s, and the sun radiated in full display, guests arrived around 5:30 PM in a jovial mood.

Gathering in the elegant art deco bar area, Adaptive and Oasis representatives were on hand to introduce themselves to clients and engage in casual conversation. As more guest began to arrive, the crowd shifted to the private charming, and stylish, Churchill room.

Annette Manias, Oasis Solutions President, gave opening remarks, and introduced the Oasis and Adaptive team. Following Annette, Aaron Rosenberg, SVP Business Development at Oasis, gave a presentation about the direction of business technology, and the importance of cloud computing.

Passing the mic onto the Adaptive team, Account Executives, Anne Yates and Melissa Keilen, discussed the importance, efficiency and benefits that a business gains utilizing a business intelligence tool like Adaptive Insights. Anne engaged the audience with a quick poll to find out the pain points that CFOs are currently experiencing, and then spoke directly about those issues.

After a short intermission, a client panel came together, hosted by Aaron, to discuss how using Adaptive has impacted their business. The panel consisted of Alex Harrington, Southern Graphic Systems, LLC., Hank Romaine, Hendricks Coal Technologies, Kate Henninger, Revere Packaging, and Thurman Jones, NetShape Technologies.

Thurman discussed his struggles with legacy technology, and the great need for forecasting. Recognizing the future of the cloud, and the benefit of using Adaptive, Thurman said, “we want to be able to deliver actionable information to customers.”

After the panel discussion, Randy Slomain, Adaptive Insights, rounded out the presentations with an informative demonstration using the Adaptive tool. During the demonstration, clients got a glimpse at the user-friendly dashboards, high-level scenarios, and the efficiency, as well as timeliness for forecasting.

Summing up the event, CFO Leonilda Jamison of Job News said, “the entire event was terrific! I enjoyed the demonstration, but, more than that, speaking with other Oasis clients that have implemented Adaptive."
